The Employee of the Quarter program is designed to recognize staff employees for their hard work, contributions to the dental school's mission and core values, teamwork, leadership and other achievements. Employees can be nominated by faculty, staff or students via a nomination form, and the recipient will be selected by the Employee Recognition Committee. Recipients receive a certificate, a feature on the Employee Recognition Committee webpage, and will be announced on our e-Bulletin Board. They will also receive the equivalent of one day of vacation added to their vacation accrual.
To be eligible to win Employee of the Quarter, a staff member must be employed by the University for one full year. Employees are not eligible to receive the award more than once.
Nomination forms will be accepted and reviewed by the Employee Recognition Committee. Nomination submission dates are the end of each month of the quarter, and the recipient chosen and announced the following month. Nomination periods are:
January 1 through March 31 (recipient announced in April)
April 1 through June 30 (recipient announced in July)
July 1 through September 30 (recipient announced in October)
October 1 through December 31 (recipient announced in December)
