Mission Statement

The mission of the Pacific Center for Special Care is to:

• Improve oral health of people with special needs including individuals with complex developmental, medical, physical, and social conditions and older adults.
• Reform the oral health care system to be responsive to the circumstances and needs of people with special needs.
• Improve awareness of barriers and solutions to good oral health for people with special needs among oral health, general health, and social services professionals and advocacy, educational, and government organizations.
