People with special needs face unique challenges in obtaining quality, affordable oral health care. The Pacific Center for Special Care is pleased to offer several professional education programs throughout the year which are open to anyone interested in learning more about caring for the oral health of people with special needs.
We offer programs for a wide range of professionals including dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, dental office staff, nurses, social workers, caregivers and group home staff. Although our courses are focused on supporting dental professionals to work more effectively with people with developmental and other disabilities, often family members of someone with a special need find our programs very helpful.
The Pacific Center offers an education program which satisfies the California education requirements to qualify for the Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice license. Learn more >>
