CAESY
Education System
|

CAESY is a patient education system that is available for viewing on
Pacific
School of Dentistry's network. Your computer will need to have
some additional software, called "plug-ins" installed in order to run this
system. Before you install the plug-ins, check the followings:
1. You
will need Internet Explorer (version 5.x and up) to play CAESY:

You will need to know what version of operating system (OS) your computer
has. You can obtain this information by clicking Start > Settings > Control Panels > System > General.
If you have a Dell laptop or desktop, the OS should
be either Win 2000 or Win XP.
Then click here for
instructions on how to download and install the plug-ins.
When Caesy is accessed, the Caesy menu will be presented in a browser window (i.e. Internet Explorer)

CAESY can be accessed from the dental school web site or by clicking either "The Edge" or "CAESY" icon on student laptop. If clicking that icon lead to the screen depicted below, click CAESY at the bottom to bring up the menu screen depicted above:

***Run the following commands if there’s audio only but no visual:
- Click Start > Run on the desktop
- Type "regsvr32 msdxm.ocx" without the quotes

- Click OK. The system should inform you that the operation is
successful with a pop-up.
