Interest in Caries Management by Risk Assessment (CAMBRA) is growing worldwide, and the approach is now incorporated in the curriculum of most dental schools. Caries risk assessment is a new paradigm that focuses on minimally invasive strategies that emphasize oral biofilm, demineralization and remineralization as key to controlling the caries disease process. Dr. Wong will present the most recent information on CAMBRA, testing methods and treatment strategies, with an emphasis on treatment planning for longevity of restorations and using a minimally invasive approach.
