School alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends along with members of the dental profession and wider community are invited to participate in the 16th annual Kids in the Klinic Golf Classic, a fundraiser to be held June 24, 2013 at the prestigious Olympic Club in San Francisco.
The Golf Classic benefits the Kids in the Klinic Endowment at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. This important fund focuses on dental care, education and oral health prevention for disadvantaged children throughout Northern California. Money raised at the event will directly support dental care for children in need.
Golf Classic participants will enjoy an 18-hole round of golf on either the Lake or Ocean Course. The historic Olympic Club recently served as the site of the 2012 U.S. Open tournament, as well as the 1955, 1966, 1987 and 1998 U.S. Open championships.
After a day on the course, golfers will attend a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by dinner and a live auction. The auctions will offer a variety of golf, dining and travel packages, and attendees can also choose to fund-a-need, or donate directly to the Kids in the Klinic Endowment.

The Kids in the Klinic Golf Classic was started by Dr. Susan Bittner ’74 and the Children’s Dental Healthcare League to raise money for the Kids in the Klinic Endowment. Today, thanks to the efforts of Dr. Bitter and many volunteers from the Pacific Dugoni Foundation, the endowment is on its way to reaching its goal of raising $2 million.
