Welcome to the University of the Pacific Dental Care Center in Union City. We are the satellite clinic of the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco.

This clinic began serving the community over 20 years ago. Our purpose for having a satellite clinic was not only to give the students an opportunity to work in a private office setting, but also to extend our services and discounts to the East Bay. Treatment is provided by a rotation of senior students from the main campus in San Francisco. They are overseen by three senior resident dentists and a clinic director, all of whom are graduates of University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.

How to become a patient

Call 510-489-5200 and make an appointment for an initial visit.
We begin by taking necessary x-rays and diagnosing full treatment plans.
Specialist referrals can be accommodated at our main campus in San Francisco.

Fees and Payment Plans

Pacific School of Dentistry offers comprehensive, quality dental care at reasonable prices. Our fees are 30 - 40% less than the average private dental office in the Bay Area. We accept most dental insurance plans, including Denti-Cal, Medi-Cal and private insurance, and cash, check, VISA and Mastercard. Flexible payment options are available for those who are eligible and may be discussed with one of our patient/financial coordinators.

Directions to Pacific Dental Care Center at Union City:

From North Bay (San Francisco, Oakland, etc):

80 East across the Bay Bridge to 880 South.
880 South for approximately 25 miles and exit at Alvarado-Niles (the exit after Whipple).
Make a LEFT at the light upon exiting to go back over the freeway.
Continue for several miles until you reach Decoto Rd.
Make a LEFT on Decoto Rd..
You will drive approximately ½ mile until you pass under the BART tracks.
Immediately after passing the tracks, you will make a U-turn at 10th St.
You will then make your second RIGHT onto 12th St.
You will see a park on your left and the clinic is at the end of the road. Park in the lot.

From South Bay (San Jose, Palo Alto, etc):

101 North to Hwy 84 East (Fremont). This will turn into the Dumbarton Bridge.
After crossing the bridge, you will see a split for Hwy 84 and Hwy 880.
Continue straight, DO NOT exit right onto Hwy 84 East.
When you continue straight (as if towards 880 North), it will turn into Decoto Rd.
Follow Decoto Road for several miles.
Alvarado-Niles Rd. will be the closest major cross-street to look for.
Once you cross Alvarado-Niles, you will look for the BART tracks overhead.
After passing under the tracks, make the first U-turn at 10th St.
Make your second RIGHT onto 12th St.
You will see a park on your left and the clinic is at the end of the road. Park in the lot.

From BART:

The Union City BART station is 2 blocks from the clinic. As you leave the BART station, follow the tracks to the right. You will cross Decoto Road. Follow the path that is directly under the BART tracks through the park. It will take you right to us on the other side of the park. This is about a 10 minute walk.
