Services Provided

Routine Dental Care

At the Faculty Practice, individuals with good dental health are seen by a general dentist for periodic examinations and routine procedures. The dentist supervises dental cleanings that are performed by a hygienist. Patients are provided with a personalized oral health program, overseen by experts in the dental profession.

Multi-Disciplinary Care

The Faculty Practice offers multi-specialty cooperation in a single setting—for patients who require complex procedures or phases of care by specialists from different dental fields. On-the-spot consultations can be arranged and the sequence of care is simplified because it is managed within the clinic. This comprehensive range of services generally applies to patients in need of endodontic, orthodontic, periodontal, implant and restorative rehabilitation. Usually a general dentist or a prosthodontist serves as a primary treatment director and works with specialists to provide the full-scope of care a patient needs. Dentists in the practice also collaborate with other special services at Pacific, such as the Oral Pathology Group, the Pacific Center For Orofacial Disorders and the Pediatric Dentistry Department.
At the completion of active treatment, the patient may continue to visit a general dentist at the practice for maintenance care.
