Research Interest

Dental caries is an infectious disease which is treatable and preventable. To do so requires research in many areas ranging from detection and prevention to new treatment modalities such as chemical treatment strategies and minimally invasive tooth repair. Useful advances in technology such as lasers have opened the door to a true paradigm shift in the modern management of this disease.
