Spring Quarter 2008 Selectives
DDS & IDS Classes of 2009
DDS Class of 2010

Students in the first- and second-year classes are required to take two selectives during the spring quarter.  A student may take as many courses as he/she wishes provided there is no time or other conflict.  Please select at least two courses from the list of offerings below.  On the registration form (also below), please clearly rank your selections in order of preference and submit the form electronically or in hard copy to the Office of Academic Affairs.  (The registration form is a Word document.  To submit electronically, first save the form to your hard drive, fill it out, and send it as an e-mail attachment from your Pacific e-mail account.)  Assignment of courses begins on Friday, February 29.  Your selective course assignments will be posted here during winter quarter final exams.

All selective courses are offered on a credit/”F” basis only.  The dental school does not have a “no credit” grading option.  Selective courses become part of your dental school transcript.

Students enrolled in courses with meeting times listed as “TBD” or “ad lib” will be contacted by the faculty sometime early in spring quarter with specific information on meeting logistics.

A one-week add/drop period will be held March 31 to April 4, 2008 in the Office of Academic Affairs. Submit the Add/Drop form electronically or in hard copy to the Office of Academic Affairs.  Please see Marcia Kwan or Dr. Bender for any questions regarding adding or dropping a course.

Ortho Invisalign Course Selection (DDS/IDS classes of 2009):
Students are selected using a number randomizer on the web for each of the 3 quarters (summer, autumn, and winter). Students who were NOT selected are on the waitlist.  If a selected student declines participation, a student from the waitlist will be chosen using the number randomizer.

Revised dates and rooms are in RED on the Course Offerings .
