During
a black-tie gala at Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall on
Saturday, August 28, University of the Pacific named
its nationally renowned School of Dentistry as the Arthur
A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in honor of Dugoni, its
dean for 26 years. Pacific became the first university
in the United States or Canada to name its dental school
after a current dean.
