The dental laser is now an accepted component to the dental armamentarium. This course will bring you up-to-date on the different types of lasers as well as their uses and limitations. This course will provide a foundation for those practitioners wishing to become "certified" in laser instrument use. Practice experience with soft tissue specimens will provide an excellent hands-on learning environment. Comparisons of scalpel and laser surgical procedures will provide the participant a unique and practical insight into the many applications of this modern technology. Participants will observe laser procedures on patients (depending on available cases).
