Dr. Terry Hoover began teaching as a clinical faculty member at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2002 after 28 years in his private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a graduate of Stanford University and UCSF School of Dentistry.
For the past 8 years Dr. Hoover has served as vice chair of the Department of Diagnostic Sciences (formerly the Department of Dental Practice and Community Services), Director of the Integrated Clinical Sciences Curriculum Strand, and Course Director of the second year Integrated Clinical Sciences course. He has been a member of multiple committees within the dental school as well as the University of Pacific campus in Stockton.
Dr. Hoover is a member of Pacific's Tau Kappa Omega honor society, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National honor society, and a fellow of the American College of Dentists. Currently he serves on two exam writing committees for the Joint Commission on Dental Examinations, the Advanced Dental Aptitude Test (ADAT) and the Integrated National Dental Board Examination (INDBE).
Dr. Homer Asadi has been a faculty member at the Biomedical Sciences Department at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry since 1990 and has been in private practice concurrently for the past 28 years. He is also a 1988 graduate and alumni of the Dugoni School of Dentistry and an active member of the Dugoni School community. He is an associate professor and course director at the Biomedical Sciences Department and various selectives classes, and a current member of the Institutional Review Board of the University of the Pacific.
Dr. Asadi lectures extensively on a variety of professionally relevant continuing education courses at the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, as well as the University of the Pacific's Continuing Dental Education Department.
Dr. Asadi is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor society, and nominated and selected for the Fellowship of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He serves on the Advanced Dental Aptitude Test (ADAT), and Test Construction Committee (TCC) of the American Dental Association.
