CALTeach is a professional development program designed specifically for faculty at the dental school. The program focuses on the best practices for teaching in classroom and clinical environments. It is comprised of 2.5 onsite program days and one asynchronous webinar. Designed and facilitated by AAL (Academy for Academic Leadership), the program serves as the prerequisite for faculty members who wish to enroll in the AAL/University of the Pacific's Master's in Health Professions Education Degree Program.
In addition to programs offered at the dental school, the university's Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) on the Stockton campus also sponsors and offers various programs to all faculty on the three campuses. Check out the CTL website for information.
