Dr. Alan H. Gluskin '72 was recently elected 2016-2017 Secretary of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) at the organization's annual meeting held in San Francisco. Gluskin is currently professor and co-chair of the Department of Endodontics at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Gluskin graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1972 and received his Certificate in Endodontics from Temple University in 1976. He is currently a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. Gluskin was a member of the AAE Board of Directors from 2011 to 2014. He is Past General Chair of the AAE Annual Session Planning Committee and will be the Program Chair for the Association's 2017 annual meeting. He previously served as General Chair for the Joint Symposium of the American Association of Endodontists, American College of Prosthodontists and the American Academy of Periodontists in 2014. He also served as Chair of the Exhibits Advisory Committee and Special Committee for Quality Improvement and as a member of the Educational Affairs and Research and Scientific Affairs Committees. As Secretary, Gluskin also serves on the Constitution and Bylaws Committee and as the Board Liaison to the Editorial Board Committee.
