The fundraiser, chaired by Bonnie Kwong, member of the Pacific Dental Education Foundation, kicks off with a silent auction and no-host cocktails, followed by a noon luncheon and a show in the grand ballroom. Local television personality Jan Yanehiro will commentate the runway show featuring women's fashions from Betsey Johnson, men's apparel from Brooks Brothers and children's clothing from Dottie Doolittle. The clothes will be modeled by celebrity models, along with dental school alumni, faculty and friends.
The mission of Kids in the Klinic endowment is to raise funds for dental services for socioeconomically disadvantaged children in the Bay Area, including those with special needs and/or extensive medical problems.
